How Partnership Works
“And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
-Philippians 4:19
Many people quote Philippians 4:19 but don’t fully know the context of it. The apostle Paul wrote this to the Philippian church BECAUSE they had PARTNERED with him and his ministry. You can see the context summed up in Philippians 1:3-11 and 4:10-20.
Paul writes that because of your sharing and giving, “your participation [partnership] in the gospel…” now “…you all are partakers [partners] of grace with me.” In other words, when through fellowship, they took on the responsibility of sharing the burden of ministry, THEY ALSO SHARED IN THE REWARDS & GRACE God had allotted to that ministry and minister of God!
Our Covenant Commitment
Faith
We share in the responsibility of faith to take possession of faith projects, words, and vision. Receive manifestations of faith through fellowship.
Our Part: To agree with our partners in faith-filled prayers and actions to see every promise of God come to pass in your life.
Your Part: To regularly review our current faith projects, release your faith, and agree with us to take possession of the mission.
Hope
We share in the responsibility to encourage one another and uphold Biblical hope. Receive encouragement, joy, and confidence through fellowship.
Our Part: To give and share hope with our partners so you may fulfill your God-given destiny.
Your Part: To constantly be an encouragement to the ministry and leaders, upholding joy and expectation in yourself and others.
Love
We share in the responsibility to unconditionally give to each other at the leading of God. Receive love and resources, both physically and spiritually.
Our Part: To consistently sow an abundant supply of heavenly resources (vision, grace, the anointing) into your life by abiding, listening, and obeying.
Your Part: To apply action by sharing from your resources (time, skills, energy, money, faith) and increasing your ability to sow into the Kingdom.
The Flow of Partnership
God finds a person whose heart is pure towards Him.
God gives the person gifts and a calling to lead in ministry.
God gives the leader a vision with the provision and grace to accomplish it.
God draws covenant people to partner with the vision and partake in its responsibilities.
God pours out grace on the covenant partners according to the magnitude of the vision and the grace given to the leader.
The vision is accomplished through the power of God in the partnership.
God rewards those who were good stewards of the vision and partnership.
